Peoples Food Policy - Put Food In The Election

posted Apr 16, 2011 11:31 AM by slow food superior

Canada urgenty needs a coordinated approach to food policy - a National Food Policy that seeks the greatest health for all Canadians, that is fair to food producers and that is in harmony with nature.

The election is a perfect opportunity to bring food issues to the forefront of the political agenda. Getting active during the election period is a strategic and efficient way to raise awareness in your community and to prepare your new MP to address food issues in the new Parliament.
